Landing Page Design Skills

Reusable design skills for landing pages and websites: editorial storytelling, bold product launches, and image-led portfolios, with complete instructions and source.

3 systems

Give the page a clear job

Decide what the visitor should understand and do before choosing a visual direction. A launch page may need one forceful claim and an obvious action; an editorial site may need a slower reading rhythm; a portfolio may need the work to dominate.

Pick a composition that fits the content

Editorial Calm pairs a serif hierarchy with an asymmetric story. Bold Launch uses condensed display type and a strong color field for concise product messaging. Gallery Focus keeps navigation restrained and gives images the largest region. The differences should remain visible without looking at their palettes.

Build a working page, then publish it

Use a design skill when you need guidance for an existing project. Choose a landing page template when you want a supplied starting implementation and prompt. In either case, preserve real content, working links, mobile readability, and a clear primary action before deploying to build.host.
